“There is a conversation in the room that only the people at this moment can have. None of the work we’re doing is new. It’s just our turn.”*

Since 2014, Suzy has organized an artist collective in Houston and New York to promote creative expression, build community connections, and facilitate cultural exchange.

We hosted informal and intimate gatherings out of a Third Space in Brooklyn and activated existing spaces in Houston where we held art exhibitions and musical events during the first six years.

Our healing-centered engagement model intends to weave the clinical with the political. Because of that, as of 2023, we are shifting our focus from programs and production to arts-based placemaking in order to nurture discourses around a range of creative processes.

“Not one perfect path forward, but an abundance of futures, of ways to manage resources together, to be brilliant together.”
